Graphic Designer + Illustrator
As the graphic designer and illustrator on this project, I led the redesign of the Blue Water Mortgage logo from concept through final delivery. The goal was to create a mark that felt calm, trustworthy, and reflective of the brand’s coastal identity.
I began by sketching concepts by hand, exploring wave forms, sun elements, and simplified shapes that conveyed movement while maintaining a clean, professional look. After refining the strongest concept, I translated the sketch into a scalable vector design in Adobe Illustrator, focusing on balance, line weight, and simplicity to ensure the logo would work across digital and print applications.
Through collaborative feedback and iterative refinements, the final logo was approved and delivered within a two-week timeline.

Below are several early logo concepts from my initial design exploration. In these drafts, I experimented with incorporating both the wave and a subtle mountain element to reflect the New England landscape. After reviewing these directions, the partners ultimately preferred a simpler, softer aesthetic, which guided the final direction of the redesign.
